I have a 94 gt and here are the list of mods i have done to my car..

BBk CAI
BBK equal length shortys
Off road H pipe
FLowmaster 2 chambers
3.73 gears
65mm TB
bbk fuel pressure regulator

Thats about it i have a few other little things that arnt much. The reason i want to know if the msd igniton sytem (distributor,blaster coil, 6AL box) is all worth it is because i have a crack in my stock distibutor so i need to replace it and i was going to go ahead and invest in the whole msd ignition sytem. Its alot of money im just wondering if its worth it and if you need to have alot of mods to do something like that and tell a big difference. I have heard it doesnt really increase much power but makes your car run alot smotther and thats what i want. I think the cracked distibutor is making my car run funny at times but i dont know maybe its just me. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks

 

YES it is worth every penny it will make your car run a lot smoother and increase gas mileage and the throttle responce increases too. Its a great setup and i love it. I wouldnt trade it for anything

 

yes it is..you could however wait on the dist. but the box hell yes..you will see the difference

defenitely get msd ignition. the more mods you have, the more you will apriciate it

 

you don't have to have any mods to realize the benifit of msd box

 

i have the msd dist, and the 6a box, it if very much worth the money, you dont really need the coil tho but i guess every little bit helps

 

thanks guys for the input..looks like i will be investing in the msd ignition. Vfast i need a new distributor anyway so im just gonna go ahead and buy the msd one. Im really looking forward to getting this system now. How hard is it to instal. i know the coil is simple, the distributor no problem but what about the 6AL box? anything i need to know about that? also what kind of spark plugs wires do you guys recomend. thanks for the help guys.

 

when u order your box, order the addition harness, that way u dont have to do too much, with the harness you plug the harness into your coil and then the box into the new harness, so much esiar that way

 

alright thanks moocow. I will deffinatly order that addition harness. Is that what its called just msd addition harness and thats all i need? Also are the directions and everything that come with the system pretty basic and easy to follow. Thanks im 17 and will be doing this in my garrage sometime soon. Thanks for the help guys.. Anyone know about spark plug wires?
