need Help changed oil and need to know what is the engine oil capacity of a mustang 302 V8 5.0 litre standard sump. not sure if i have enough in and am suspect about dipstick, if its right one. any help would be really appreciated

 

5qts 10W30. motorcraft fl1A filter there are two drain plugs one in the front of the pan one in the bottom of it. the dip sticks can be off sometimes dont worry about it just put in 5 take note of where it is on the dip stick and your good to go

 

yup... if you don't drain both plugs, you'll have 1/2 - 3/4 too much

5 qts includes the filter change, no filter change = 4 qts
