Question a9s computer

what is the difference between a9s computer and a9l,a9p?????????????
a9l=mass air 5-speed
a9p=mass air auto
a9s=???????????

The differences will be minimal... to the point that you probably won't notice.
(same way you probably wouldn't notice the difference between A9L vs A9P)

I can look a little closer when I get home today...

i just recently ordered the a9s cause i am converting to mass air...my current s.d.computer has a performance module, will it be compatable with the a9s?????

A9S is the CA (emissions strict) for manual transmissions program code.... and nope, the SD ECM performance chip will not be compatible with any Mass Air ECM.

why cant i find out any info on this module??? it says performance module by superchip..
i try to lookup some info on it, hell i even have the part# but i cant even find that this thing was ever even made

i know that a chip would not work but this is a module that goes in between the harness and computer, isnt that different???

If the only way to change its programming is by having it "re-flashed" (no way to access system parameters via a laptop)....... it's a chip "encased" in a PWB substrate to connect to the ECM via the test port. Internal logic is different between ECM types.
