Default Cam Selection 94 GT

What cam would you guy recommend for my 94 GT, I plan on AFR 165's, GT40 intake, 70MM Throttle body 24# injectors, 3:55 rear. I am probably stuck using the Cobra 1.7 roller rockers since thats about all will fit under the stock valve covers so keep that in mind. I also need to pass emissions testing here in Denver. I know there are very few emissions certified cams but that doesn't mean some larger NON certified cams won't blow clean enough for me to pass. I'd love to hear your suggestions for this combo. Thanks

i know that the Steeda 19 is a very popular cam for 94-95s because of your picky computers, but i'm not sure on it passing the sniffer

if its in your budget you could get a custom grind cam and tell them that you want to pass emissions. Ive heard that the steeda 19 is supossed to pass but never from someone first hand thats had it and went for emissions

Through some reading on other boards a few suggested Comp Cams 2031 which is actually meant to be used with 1.7 rockers and is actually emissions certified. I just hope it give me enough power and can fully take advantage of those heads, but it sounds like a pretty good option for me.

If you go with the Steeda #19 then we'll have the exact same setup. So far I have no complaints with the cam. All depends how aggressive you want to go really.

screw the 2031!!! you should choose the steeda 19 for hassle free drivibility and some claim it will pass emissions although steeda never spent the money to have it C.A.R.B certified

Steeda 19 is not THE cam exclusively for a SN95. The finickiness of the SN95 EEC is way overblown, if emissions are a requirement though, you need to choose a cam/valve train setup that will provide performance and emissions compliance, but the alternatives are not "limited" to the Steeda 19 cam + you have other cylinder head options that will provide better performance, while keeping the stock cam with 1.7 or 1.72 rockers...... is that an option? I'm pretty hell bent on those AFR 165 heads, from all the articles I've seen and dyno sheets I've seen those heads are the cats meow, I just want a cam that meets all my criteria, reliable, will pass emissions, will maximize horsepower.
