Default sound buff

Want to add a sound system to my 92 fox. How do I remove the head unit? (Darn thing wont budge) Also is there a special wiring grid I may need to follow. I want to run a sub/amp in the back but cant find any supporting cables. Also the only overhead light in the car is PATHETIC. And I want to run a couple of LED light strips along side of the roof Around the headliner. Should be simple right?

is it a stock head unit? shouldn't be that difficult, post pics on how far you've gotten so we can have a visual. and all you need is a harness that you splice into the factory wires behind the unit that will plug directly in to the new unit.

as for the head unit there is two realease clips on both sides of the unit and there are keys to release these locks.
aftermarket wire harness for your new deck is color coded and easy to follow to splic into head unit wiring and then it plug n play's into your stock harness.

as for your LEAD's there is a power wire that runs to your factor light, splice it two ways(if you are having light strips on both sides) run the wire to each side and then there will be a grounding wire, just attach it to the car's roof support for proper ground. simple as your said.

if you want to go further with a sound system(speaker and subs) be sure to PM me, i have lots of info for you if you're going custom.
