Default Wont start, clicking but not the starter?

Hey Guys, got a wierd issue on my hands....so my car used to crank slow (even with a new battery), sometimes real slow. But whats wierd (other than the slow crank) is its got a new battery? Terminals are clean, New starter, new relay. Anybody ever encountered an issue like this before? Oh and now it wont start at all gives the infamous "click" signs of a bad starter but its new? Oh and its a bone stock 87 stang. Thanks All!!!

new or reman starters hve failed out of the box... most are test with out a torque tester and once under the load of the engines compression they fail. check all connections and ground

often times heat soak will make a starter crank slower after sitting after warm start up, try a new starter
