Default looking for a 5.0l engine

hey guys... im looking for a complete 5.0 engine so far ive found a complete one for $600. Does anybody have one for less or know where i can get one for less?

i got one... its sittin in my garage i pulled the heads and intake off to look at it it is clean and the cylinder walls are still good looking i was told it has 45xxx on it and it sure looks like it does 400 bucks and its yours

Go to a junkyard and look in the old Mark VIIs and I beleive they also put the 5.0 HO in the 80's Mercury Cougars. I got a 302 out in the barn that I'm getting ready to take apart and look at, $500, it's got an edelbrock carb. and edlebrock hi/po intake manifold.

600 is a lot for an engine. should be more like 300-400

well the engine i was looking at had 60,000 miles on it for 600 bux now ur 45,xxx sounds dam good for 400 dollers being that im short on money and im gunna need alot more money for the full conversion.. every1 posting there engines, is there ANYTHING wrong at all and do you have and pics for me? also what kinda mods are on it? please let me know

also just to clarify its oing to be put in a 93 mustang lx coupe... so if im going to need to change anything like mass air flow or sumthing that would be nice to know

yes its a conversion from a 93 lx coupe 4cyl 2.3l to a 302 5.0l engine
