Default clicking in the engine.

Ok when I bought the car it made this clicking sound so I bought new spark plugs, wires, and a new distributor cap. The clicking went away until recently. I changed the sparkplug wires again for some 8.5 super conductors and I got a new MSD coil. I turned the car on and this time I wasnt sucessful. Anyone know what this can be? It sounds like the heads but I could be wrong. [sm=WTFsgign.gif]

when you have an exhaust leak from the header or pretty much anywhere it will make a clicking noise. sounds like metal to metal. The weird thing is that it went away then came back..

Yeah headers may sound like metal on metal, I thought it was the same thing, I thought it was rockers or lifters but it turned out the old cast iron headers were cracked. Go to your nearest muffler shop and ask them to take a look it should be free but if not oh well.
Thank you by the way.
