Default D70EDA heads

thats the casting number of these heads i found for twenty bucks.. are those the 351 heads that will improve my 302? I remember only some kind of 351 heads help but not sure what ones

^^^^^^^^^yes dooe heads are comparable to gt-40 heads...but IMO they are only worth it if someone has lightly ported them and installed larger valves..I have c9oe heads on my 66 which are the same as DOOE heads

cool, the dooe heads will raise compression slightly as they have a slightly smaller cumbustion chamber than stock e7 heads

depends on which 289 heads you have?? the heart shape cumbustion chamber 289 heads will carry a higher compression than the dooe heads, so if those are the 289 heads you have, I'd port them and put larger valves in those if you can get it done cheap

haha will do gotta finish my c4 swap im in the middle of first though also another question i want to buy an engine to play with over the winter what year motors ( not like past 93) are the best to slap bolt ons too?

any roller block set up from like 85 -92 will be fine as those are the years that had forged pistons stock, as far as power output between the years, not much difference
