Default Suspension Time!

So, here's where the challenge comes in. I know I'm getting maximum motorsports suspension package, but not sure what package to get. I plan on going to the road course AND going to the track, but more to the drag strip than the road course. Would I even really benefit from getting the "road and track box" which has everything I need to have a very astounding handled car for the road tracks. But if i were to get this, would i be able to launch properly??

So that brings me to my next question, If i were to get "the street and strip box" kit, would this hamper my ability to compete in road courses? Obviously it is going to help a lot for the drag strip and remain streetable, but will I suffer in ride quality?

Last question, if i were to mix the two would that be a better way to go, and then get a happy medium of the two or what?

the issue with selecting suspension is your really can only pick one or the other. so now is the time to decide what you want more.

my set up is for drag but my externally adj. shocks i can make them really really stiff and i can handle decently if i keep the sway bar on. but since i decided to go only drag i have all drag suspension and ditched the front sway bar.

road coarse suspension will help 100% all around DD of the car and you will still launch better than stock. and with sticky tires you can still pull some >2.0 60's

if you get drag suspension you could be lookin at some sloppy under steering on a road coarse but some healthy 5k launches at the track with good hook.

so its hard to tell you what to buy, just dont mix match or you could be hurting yourself in both areas. but since you'd enjoy/see the drag strip more i think you answered your questions. if you have adj. shock/struts you could still see some decent times down at the roadcoarse.

Yea my car is a Daily Driver so I'd have to consider that as well. If i were to upgrade to a very competitive drag strap suspension would I be suffering in daily driving and such? Or would that still be alright, just feel a bit harsh when driving?

how about the mm sport box. it has
* H&R Sport springs
* MM Caster/Camber Plates
* Tokico Premium Performance struts
* Tokico Premium Performance shocks
* Urethane spring isolators
* MM Pinion Snubber (solid axle Mustangs)
* MM Panhard Bar
* MM Standard Subframe Connectors
* MM Strut Tower Brace
* MM 4-point K-member Brace
* Urethane steering rack bushings
* Front swaybar bushings
* Front swaybar end links

that should be plenty and then maybe get some upper/ lower control arms and call it a day???

i would get u/l control arms before anything else. that makes everythign happen.(well i big part of it)

anyways road race suspension will be stiff and ridged and very nible. thing about the saying "handles like its on rails"

that kit plus the u/l control arms that'd handle really well. then all you need is a good set of tires
