i just had the king cobra clutch installed in my 94 gt. and first gear feels a little funny. it grabs real hard and kinda makes a clunking noise. i think its just break in time because it has gotten a little better. all the other gears shift fine. anyone know what this is or mean? do i need an adjustable clutch cable kit? thanks

 

I dont know, I did my clutch on saturday and mine is fine, it just took me a while to get used to where it grabs.

an adjustable clutch cable and quadren just makes it so you can adjust where the clutch grabs.

I dont know about the clunking though.
where is it coming from?

did you also rebuild your track-lok with new clutch packs? that is the only thing I can think of that will clunk.

mabye check and make sure the release bearing is okay.
