I purchased a hypertech chip for my car, it was one of the first things I did. It just plugs into the computer and I defiantly noticed a difference!

Aftermarket Chip=JUNK. Save your money and get something more useful for your car. If your going to get a computer upgrade, get a Tweecer R/T for about $500. It takes time to learn, but you can control everything on your car. What are your mods?

Yea... chips don't do a lot unless you can tune your own stuff and control it yourself. I got my custom chip as a gift for my exact modifications and i noticed a whole lot of NOTHING. Only thing that changed was i was getting about 6 miles more per tank than without it so i left it on, but no immediate speed or hp changes that i noticed.

50GT, unfortunately I think that "noticeable difference" was all in your head.

of all the chips you could buy, hypertech is the worst. in most cases, hypertech provides no hp gain. get a dyno tune or spend that money on something else

Well when I got the chip my car was bone stock. It even still had the stock airbox on it! Your right after I started modifying it, I don’t think I would notice a difference in it now.
