Default 331 running rich

For all those that have 331's does your car run rich since you put in the 331 over the 302? When I had my 302 in the car it didnt run rich and then put the 331 in it runs rich and then i put in another 302 it didnt run rich.

Do all 331's run rich or is it just a sensor problem?

Maybe stock motors fall within the parameters of the stock computer and your 331 does not. You did not mention if you were fuel injected or tuned so thats my best guess.

It is EFI and it has a cobra computer in the car. Not sure why it runs rich i guess that it has to be a sensor problem since it cant be the wiring since the 302 engines ran fine in the car before.

Crappy or untuned MAF would be the most likely cause.
