I have a few spots of rust here and there on my new car.. Ive never removed rust from something before so this is kinda new. It isnt serious like eating through anything but its there in some spots and i want to remove and not have it come back again and spread. What would i need to do?

 

where exactly? i had some light rust on my engine bay and all i did was sand it primer it 3 coats smooth it and then painted it 3 coats of paint and it looks perfect
