Default Quick Question.....69 Windsor or GT40Ps?

I just have a quick question......I have a 69 302 where the heads work great....I pulled the engine running beautifully......How would those heads compare polished and ported to a set of GT40ps?

Also how would they compare both polished and ported? I figure both options would be better than the e7s on my car currently....just need a lil direction

oh ok.....I just thought that the 69 heads would have more material there for porting.....I was just wondering, cuz I know where I can get some gt40ps for 150-200 bucks, but I was thinking about the 69 heads cuz I already have them laying around

Thanks for the quick reply!

if they were c9oe heads and had the smaller cumbustion chambers they might be worth it but only if they had bigger valves already installed, I cam across such for 300.00 a set of 69oe heads with manley ss valves 1.94/1.50 and they were lightly ported and converted to stud mount rockers

heck the gt40ps have a 58cc chamber anyway. and are really a pretty good head as far as stock heads go they may be the best inline non canted valve head Ford made.

Hands down GT40ps. You will have to put Hardened valve seats and do a partial port (blend the bowls) on those heads to get them to flow with a GT40p head. The GT40p has a more efficiant combustion chamber as well.

While I've never had a set in my shop I hear some good things about the Patriot 185's and they are cheap.
