are the 4cyl and 5L fox body rad the same? because my 4cyl rad and fan aren't cooling my 351w at all.. while at the strip.
wondering if i should upgrade to a 5L rad and shroud/fan. Would that cool it? or do I need to get a aluminum one from ford racing. i am kinda on a tight budget here and want to street drive this beast next spring.
i think you have the single row radiator i think theres another one for the mustang its a 3 row im not sure also wat t-stat do you have on there have you bled the cooling system if this motor was taken apart did you put on the head gaskets on correctly hope this helps
I'm using the 4 cyl radiator in my 92 that use to be a 4 cyl but I converted it to 5.0 and it does not overheat 1 bit, it is a single core where as the 5.0 is a double row
mine was getting warm with the 5.0 rad. but when i put the fluidyne in there it never gets over 180. ALso what row are the ones like in the verts, there like wide all the way accross the tanks
if you end up going with a new radiator, look at the jeg's brand aluminum ones. i got one of their 3 row radiators and it works very well. direct bolt in for cheap
maybe im in canada so shipping is a lot. i'll prob go through summit and get a fluidyne..it would still really work good if i use a stock 5L elec fan right?
