hoisting engine?

Ok, you can unbolt the engine mounts and tranny mount and put a piece of wood on a jack and jack up the motor. That should give you enough room and be easier than pulling off your intake to get enough room to put on a hoist.

OR you could take off your accesory brackets and put a couple bolts thru a chain and lift it from the front of the motor.

the previous owner rebuilt the motor and installed the headers when he dropped the motor in. Trust me they WON"T come out without taking the motor up.
