Usually, the aluminium pulleys cost a bit more. However, the steel pulleys will work fine. It doesn't matter what brand you pick, they are all pretty much the same. I ran BBK. FYI, you may having charging issues if you are running a high powered sound system or after-market alarm system.

You should be fine. However, you may notice a few annoyances. The headlights may dim when coming to a stop, or the stereo may lower in volume, for instance. I would still go for it.

I can't imagine there being much of a difference in the brands. I would go with steel because they look stock and will match your other pulleys but if you want a show car look then you may want to go with aluminum.

if you're getting underdrive pulley's and you think the charging might suffer you can always swap out all of the other pulley's and leave the current pulley that's on the alternator!

I agree, I don't think they are worth it. I was messing around on car crafts website and 5.0 mustang and superfords website and one of them tested udp's and they gained 3rwhp. Its not worth it because the car won't charge right.

I'm not a fan of these, either. I have a set on my car, and the charging SUCKS! I don't even have a premium sound system or alarm.

The headlights dims when you you come to a stop. Turning the hvac fan on causes the headlights to dim. Turning the radio on, the fan on and headlights on will make it look like you're running a candle in your light housings. It's hard to see your dash display at night. Plus, it's emberassing that every time I leave from a dead stop at night, everything gets brighter as if I have some POS with electrical problems. It pretty much says, "Hey, look! An *******!"
