Default Engine Help

Ok guys i have a 94 GT and im ready to buy a crate engine. Im looking for a 347 longblock with aluminum heads (i prefer AFR) I dont want to spend more than 5K shipped to my door. Im looking for something reliable and something that will produce 425 - 500hp with no juice or boost. i dont plan to run either in the future either. I just want a relaible but nasty weekend driver and i dont care about fuel mileage.

What company's will build and assemble a good quality long block?.?.?.

I am ready to make a decition in the next week.

thats because they dont sell "crate motors" or "long blocks" but Jim is usually more than happy to help you order a custom engine "Package" which will have a good combination of parts that are all designed to work together... as Jim puts it... Fordstrokers.com doesnt sell "one size fits all" so why buy yourself a "cookie cutter" engine?

by far the best service and support I have ever found.

I did find a way to pull up a short block and make additions to it and it automatically adds the price up for you and they do offer AFR 185's. How do i know exactly what else i will need? This is a list of things that will come with it.

I already have an upper and lower intake so i wont need them. I know i will need to order a MAF and 24# injectors. I have a 195lph in tank fuel pump that should be enough right? Will i need to order rr's seperate? im excited to get the ball rolling on this! what was the turn around time like for yours?
