Default Differance Between Radiators?

I drive an 88 GT 5-speed. After looking at pictures online it looks to me like I have the radiator out of an automatic car. How can you tell, and whats the differance. Does it really matter?

automatics will have a tranny cooler built in, look for the connections on the sides of the radiator

On the drivers side, right above the bottom hose fitting, there is a bung that you could screw a line into. Is that what ur talking about?

So is it ok to run this radiator on a manual car, or should I get a a manual tranny radiator?

I would plug the holes with some brass plugs just incase you decide to sell it in the future.

Ok thanks guys, there is a date scratched into the side of it from 1999 so I'm guessing someone replaced it then with a automatic one. I just sent it out to get repaired, there was a few pin hole leaks in the drivers side of it. But if I you guys say I can run it with no problems thats all I needed to know. Thanks!!

Im running an auto trans radiator in my 93 gt with no problems at all! Had a little trouble mounting the fan shroud up to it but it all worked out in the end.

just to add onto this thread, is there a difference between the 5.0 radiator and a 2.3? i bought a radiator with an attached shrowd and overflow tank and it looks to be aluminum, but it looks thin. will this matter? i needed a radiator because some ****bag stole mine out of my yard...:/
