Default MGW Short Throw Shifter

I ordered one up, but my question is if I really have to get under the car and lift it up to do the work or if i can do it all by inside the vehicle and maneuver the piece in to fit in the slot...

ah cool! if it comes with instructions then it'll be a no brainer! Just sometimes those types of parts don't come with instructions and end up sitting there like wtf do it do and why are there no instructions that work online... lol.

I just installed one a few months ago. And it does come with instructions. On my 91 it was a lot simpler than I thought it would be. Only took an hour and a half or so. And I did get under the car just to drain it.
