Default DIZZY help

hey guys i finally got my dizzy unstuck and i wanna pull it out but before i do i was wondering do i need to line the rotor button up with the #1 cylender on the dizzy cap or can i just take a pic of how it sits now and put the new one back in the same way.. im trying to avoid the 180 degrees out thing i hear so many ppl doing..im outside on a laptop so anyhelp would be greatful right about now thanks

ok guys so ive been reading a thread on here i now kno i need to get the #1 cylnder to TDC but my problem is now is im afraid that when i go to pull this sucker out its gonna pull the shaft that rotates the oilpump and one thing i do not wanna do is have to pull this motor back out just to fix an oilpump any sugestions on the best way to do this so i can avoid a catastrafy =(

mark the rotor in relation to the dizzy base and transfer base t new dizzy and drop it back in accordingly and use a light for the fine adjustment

^^^just as said, mark pull, reinstall and set timing with the light
