i understand that but i have been told by many that even with a tune that the 94/95 comps don't take well to mods and even after a tune can still have kinks here and there

I have been told by many that the 94/95 comps don't take well to mods and even after a tune the car can still have kinks here and there just because of how the computers are

A GOOD custom tune will resolve any of those issues... The alternative to is that you swap YOUR ecu for a Fox ecu.
Not worth the time/money...

A computer is a computer, it does what is programmed to do....... the SN95 is no different in that respect. Are they different than the GUFB or fox units?... yep, and the tuner needs to know those differences. The SN95 ECM also has other features (like datastream capabilities) to help in the tuning process more effectively than a fox ECM. IOW.....all those "kinks" are the tuner's responsibility to iron out..... BTSTDT. It is easy to blame parts when they are not understood.

you know i heard about the horror stories as well.... but I was happily surprised when we put a 331 in my 94 and no codes at all! it adapted to all the differences beautifully! Hope it all works out!

man the 94/95 computers are not that big of a deal. The difference between the SN95 and fox computers is like the same thing as the sn95 vs foxbody weight differences. It's no big deal but people make it into something huge.

Just wondering, what do you mean you had "a chip burned for your car?" Was the car dyno tuned or logged while driving and adjusted, or did you tell the guy what your car had and he put it in a chip and said here you go? How much time was spent in the actual burning process?

the car was logged with actually driving time and adjustments made. about 6 hours all in all was spent on the tune. no dyno tuning was done because that doesn't account for real time driving. and it was an sct 4 bank chip
