Ok so heres the story baught some forged pistons for my new build an i guess while they were bein shipped ups threw the box an i have some nicks at the ends of the pistons their brand new an the company i got em from wont warranty em now.

had insurance and everything ups aint helpin me at all as for summit neither are they.Ive been battling them for the past 2 weeks

dont settle for anything les than NEW pistons dont deal with UPS call Summit complaining let them deal with UPS they are the ones who shipped their parts thru them let them get ill with UPS you dont have too.

I'm with these guys. Even if they were handled "rough", maybe Summit should've had them packaged better perhaps? This doesn't sound like Summit not wanting to resolve the situation.

I've never had a problem with Summit Racing in more years than I care to disclose. Call the customer service department and really express your concerns. I've had pistons that arrived broken and had a new set sitting at in my shop within 36 hours. I had an issue with a set of Edelbrock Victor Jr Heads that somehow had the valve cover bolt holes not drilled just right. Summit had a new set of heads sitting on the floor of my shop the next day. The first set sat in my shop for a week before UPS picked them up. They have the best customer service I've ever seen and the reason I do more business with them than all other places combined. Please post a picture of the piston. How long since the purchace? I may be able to offer you some help through Summit

allready done everything i could im screwed just need to know whether or not i can have them machined?
