I borrowed a code reader from a friend, cause my car is throwing a check engine light and sputtering.... but i can't find the hookup for it. Can anyone enlighten me as to where to plug this bad boy in?

'05 is under the dash driver side.
'89 is behind the driver's side strut tower.
