Default Moving Alternator

I'm looking to twin turbo my 91 GT, and where the passenger side turbo would be it would sit close to the alternator. I'm wanting to move my alternator towards the middle of the pulley system a little more to help with clearance issues. I plan on keeping A/C and powersteering as it will still be daily driven or driven a good bit on the street. I don't have the smog pump anymore. Does anybody have any ideas or know of a company that allows you to move the alternator like that? I emailed March and they said they didn't have anything for it.

you could use the mounting bracket for the smog pump and get a manual tensioning arm for the other bolting location of the alt.

you should be able to TT your car without moving the alt. been done many time. you need to do a lot of planning for routing locations otherwise you'll be redoing stuff....ALOT! with this build pictured below the way we have it mounted and turbo is clocked we even made room for the DP to dip down 90* before the alt, there is about 4-6" of distance between teh DP and alt.

try marchperformance #30355. it flips the alt upside down so it hangs lower and eliminates the stock spring tensioner and replaces it with a tensioning rod. the belt would route like this

the alt will be lower giving you more room
