I miss my 85 hatch, even tho it had a lot of rust i still liked it. Don't get me wrong i love my 91 now, but something about the 4 eyed freeks give you an old muscle car feel. Must be the interior and exterior styling, also a nice carbed engine always helps!
I think that i wrote that totally wrong. I want to put a bodykit on it and cant find one, if i out a 87 on it would i have to change the front end. The measurements are the same just the headlights are different. I like my front end and want to keep it.
When I went shopping for a Fox body I looked specific for an 85 Notch. It was tough to find a stock, rust free, no sunroop straight body. I paid a premium over what I would have paid for a 87-93. It's all in what you want.

the one we're looking at is an '85 notch, all factory, no sunroof, 5.0 CFI/AOD, $700 is the asking price but Im sure we can get it for $400

Thats exactly what I was looking for when I was buying, You can see what I paid and what I was willing to pay for what I wanted. It was bone stock, unmolested and I brought it home and stripped it down to the bare body, lol
