The newer H.O. heads were preparred from the factory with roller springs and will kill your flat tappet cam lobes.

mite be wrong but if it was like 80s models 5.0 heads id be right correct?

well ima run it at my local strip when i get it runing right and see what ets i get but we only have a 1/8th track so im hoping 4 low 8s or high 7s.

1985 and newer ford 5.0L engines were roller. As I stated above, you are not going to like the Summit camshaft kit with roller valve springs. Call me and let me know how many lobes get wiped out before you finally shut it down and pull the camshaft before you figure it out on your own. That camshaft kit won't work out for you on H.O. heads.

i have a 70s block man lol with 80 5.0 heads so i think im in the good right?

70's block with 1980 heads will be fine with the .471 lift cam from summit. I ran the dog crap outta mine for nearly two years before I sold the car.

your motor code is like right above ur oil pan i think it should be on ur passenger side to see what year and what its is man hope ive been a help.
