i dont know much about the newer mustangs 94-05 but i do know th 86-93 GT's came with that option but the lx's didnt if that helps at all<IMG src=smileys/smiley14.gif border="0">

88 gt here.. if your posi is worn out, will simply changing the pinion gears help catch better? if not waht can be done? im looking at going from stock 308's to maybe a 355 or 342.</P><edited><editID>hot88drop50</editID><editDate>37924.595162037</editDate></edited>

no it isnt its gonna wear the clutch discs out even more. while your changing them, put new discs in them. and get 3.73 not 3.55, i have 3.55 and i dont like them nemore bedcause of my motor being built and the cam being rated at 2500-6000.

All V-8 Fox cars came with limited slip,but they do wear out,it's not too big of a job to replace the clutch packs in the rear end.If you can't spin both tires then you need to replace the clutches.Slide the pin out,take out the spider gears,remove the side gears,remove and replace the clutches.

<LABEL id=HbSession SessionId="403416913">3.73's are they way to go unless your looking to build a monster 5.0.....from what my friend says who has 3.55's he loved 3.73's way better but hes pushing 560rwhp now so 3.55's are the better choice.</LABEL>
