cast iron block, no need for aluminum, decide what your hp goal will be and then choose block accordingly and rest of build from there

I am running a Trickflow H/C/I and pushing 15lbs of boost through a Vortech. Car runs fine. It all depends on the tune and how much power you want to make. 400-475rwhp=can use stock block. Anything more look for a stronger block, like a Boss and forged internals.

With your mods and a turbo@8psi, it will make close to 500rwhp easily. I would look into getting a stronger block and FORGED internals if you want a minimum of 15psi.
