does the 1992 mustang 5.0 have one and if it does where is it located

you have a camshaft position sensor.... its called the distributor

Yep... and it doubles as a crankshaft position sensor, even though it's driven by the cam.

yea, its amazing how two objects that are directly correlated with a perfect 2:1 ratio can be measured with one single sensor... :D

the next thing you know, we will have rubber tubes under our cars that hold air, and are round...

No it doesn't have one. A crankshaft position sensor would be triggered by the crankshaft reluctor gear and not by any coresponding parts. Your car has neither.
