Question Vert question

I recently purchased used pump and cylinders for my 87 vert. How exactly does the cylinders mount? My car had all of those parts stripped so I have no reference. I know where the pump mounts and hose routing, just not sure where the cylinders mount. Thanks in advance...

Pretty sure it's the same as my '84 and uses rubber gromet like things. Acorn shaped things here

Not available from ford, thats the only place I've found. They just push in.

N/M, thought you meant the pump. You can KIND of see in this pic where the bottom goes.

there is a round stud on the part of the top frame that doesnt go up or down, like on a mounting brace for the frame with a nub sticking out about 1/4 of an inch, the cylinders have an indentation for this nub to fit, then there is a bracket that goes on the other side to hold it straight, then a bracket slides over on the outermost part of the car and bolts it in there.

i can try to draw some sort of picture if that description isnt helpful

I understand the 1/4 nub and all. when i look in there i can see where the stationary nub is, but not where the outer(seat side) is. Thanks for the pic Gary H, but its really hard to see.

the other side is a bracket, it has the nub on it and 2 holes, one to go over another nub and the other goes over a threaded stud that you put a nut on which holds everything togather
