im picking up some gt40p heads tomorrow off a mountaineer.... what can i do to see if they are good... everything works on them? almost as if i can just take them off the mountaineer and put them on my engine... any tips? thanks...

good as far AS WHAT IS CONCERNED?? trueness?? cleanliness??? look at the mileage of vehicle they came off of if you have access to it

 

if it's its a front end collision vehical i tend to stay clear of engine parts for the fact of possible over heating from busted radiators and depending on how hard the impact was....stress cracks could develope.

outside of that i guess take them to a shop and spend a little cash,and have them leak tested,and flatness.

 

alrighty well im headed there now. ill prolly provide pics and see what you guys think if it was a good or a bad buy.
