Default E-brake question

I noticed there are two e-brake cables, one for each wheel. However it looks as if the cables meet into one then connect at the handle assembly. I had the cable from the handle assembly to the two that go to the rear snap. Is there a replacement just for this or do I have to purchase (2) new e-brake cables at $70 a pop? Also, how do you get that cable out of the handle assembly to replace? Thanks

I get most of my items from mustangsunlimited. They generally have fair prices, but I thought that sounded a bit off. parts store it is then. So to the original post=> is it all one cable/kit or have to buy two? And how to remove from handle assembly. thanks

if you are doing each wheel you need one each. they dont have like a "kit" that i've seen at least.
