Default (new?) Edelbrock Pro-flo XT manifold

http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive_...efi_ford.shtml

"The Pro-Flo XT 289/302 EFI intake manifold is engineered with a large plenum and long tapered runners to deliver maximum horsepower and a broad torque throughout the rpm range (1500-7000 rpm). Features include a 90mm throttle bore opening and 1.08" x 1.90" tall exit ports. This manifold produced 20 more horsepower over our #3521 manifold at 5500 rpm. Accepts Edelbrock Throttle Body #3818 or #38183 and is compatible with Fuel Rail Kit #3621. Pro-Flo XT intake manifolds are available in choice of as-cast aluminum or black powder coated finish with contrast machine."

Looks REAL interesting.... Reminds me of LS1 intakes. Wonder what kind of power it makes compared to an RPM2 on an indentical setup.

Everything i see for it says its for a 302 with 1500-6500 rpm operating range... which is right where most 302 street cars are. Would be exciting if it set a new standard for our cars.

It's only been out for like 6mo tops I think? It's Eddy's newest aftermarket EFI, and yeah, the intake mimics the newer type intakes. Supposedly it out powers the Pro Flo 4bbl type intake by 20hp on the same build. It's just a more technologically advanced intake design. From what I've seen of the Chevy kits prices, that setup can run around $3,500 for the whole kit. The computer is different as well I think. Not bad for a total EFI kit.

Did anyone else notice that they have the heads drilled and fitted... Clevor style, for the coolant!
