electical problems

Default electical problems

again so i went and bout a harness from a 90 mustang that has no cut wires or anything spliced i put it in and i still am haveing troubles with the light on the culister turning on as well as my blinkers dont work but my hazards do if i jump one of the relays under the dash the lights come on any help

a 90 harness is different from an 88, one of the differences is the cluster for a 90 is air bag equipped and all the pin arrangements may not be the same as fo an 88 which is why you may be having the probs you are, you could try a 90 cluster to see if that solves some of the probs.

ok i know bout the air bag eveything hooked up fine just need the blinkers to work and the cluster lights to work

you'll have to compare the pin assignment on the 88 harness to the cluster vs the 90 harness......once you know where the power feed and or ground wire for the illumination is, it might just be a simple move of a wire but you'll need a diagram of both, NO WAY AROUND IT.

if you've converted to mass air, your best bet is an 89, no air bags and its got mass air
