Default T-bird IRS into 84 fox body

I have an opportunity to buy an IRS out of an 80's turbo coupe t-bird. I was wondering if anyone here has installed one. If so, how compatible is this swap and what is involved?

I don't think it will work but a 99+ Cobra IRS will.

Default I haven't a clue

That's what I am checking with you guys for. The guy bought it just for that purpose. Doesn't mean he was right. That's why I wanted to check with you guys before I bought it.
