im not good at doin the math to figure out how much hp it would take to put an automatic, hatch back lx into the 12s just cause i dont know what the weigh??? im still brand new to the 5.0 i had an 03 gt that was putting down 375hp and my best time with it was a 12.7@111 but i also know that car weighs a lil bit more. thanks guys

 

I have an auto 95 mustang and my car is probably good for mid-high 11's in the quarter. I probably have around 350rwhp. I know when I was N/A, I made 271rwhp & 311rwtq and ran a 13.17@105 in 90 degree heat w/a 2.0 60 ft time. I would think 270-280rwhp is all it would take plus some sticky tires and decent gearing.

 

ive put a bullitt to a 12.98@106 with an O/R X pipe, 4.10 gears, MT ET streets and a disconnected swaybar
