Default problem??

just got a 94 gt, it overheated on me and not sure what the problem is.

the oil level is twice as high as the fill line, it wont start. my friend thinks its a blown head gasket.

any ideas?

Drip the oil onto a paper towel if there is a ring around the oil drip its gas or collant, and most likely the head gasket...or smell the oil and smell for gas/collant... im guessing head gasket as well..

thats exactly what my friend told me to do haha. the oil is on the thinner side and not sure about the smell, so either gas is in there or coolant

Won't start as in turns over or it doesn't turn over if it doesn't turn over you might have a hydrolock going on and it is not a good thing to try to turn it over usually the oil becomes milky if there is coolant in it. also if it is fuel that is bad becasue it will turn your oil into a stripping agent ( usually washing out the bearings and cylinder walls). Pull the plugs as well check each cylinder you will find the cylinder or cylinders where it has blown guaranteed. Sounds like no fun to me either way good luck.

I just hydrolocked my motor....Not a fun time. Take out all the plugs and put a 15/16" socket on the crank and try to turn it.... Make sure its not in gear....
