Question Wont idle!

Just put a bbk ssi intake on my 91. When i turn the key it takes a couple of turns and some feathering of the gas... or it will die. If i turn the key and not do anything the rpms go up and down, from .5 to 1.5, then dies. After i take off and drive it around at stops it wants to give out and die, but wont. Any ideas?????

Are you sure you got the vacuum lines on the bottom of the upper manifold right? Does it make any hissing noises while running? The upper might have not sealed right as well.

im pretty sure i got all the plumbing right underneath the intake, but ill double check that. theres a one inch spacer in between the lower plenum and upper, so maybe it didnt seal right, ill have to check that 2. thanks for the advice...

i put a spacer on my cobra intake about a year ago and was having a problem too. make sure theres no vacuum leak from the intake. if you hear a hissing then spray some starting fluid to pinpoint it. mine was between the lower intake and head. pain in the @ss. good luck.
