Default wheel hop! need input

I have a 88 Gt that has aprx. 340 horse and i have a terrible wheel hop problem any time i give the car enough gas to spin the tires when going a low speed or when going around corners quickly.

I changed out the struts and shocks (which were still origanal) with KYB GR2 but that did not help at all.

The tires i have a basicly bald but i have not heard that much about that being a problem with wheel hop.

any suggestions on the culprit?

that is part of the stock suspension. are you sure? that would cause wheel hop if they arent there. you need to buy aftermarket rear upper/lower control arms with polyurethane bushings and that would keep your axle planted

o in that case then they probally still there. any idea if tires play into the picture because mine are fairly wide 255's and could be considered slicks how bald they are
