automatic transmission went out of my 96 mustang with a 302 engine i found 2 out of v 6 mustang 3.8 one has a 6.3 stamped on it the other a 6.6 will they work on a 302 if which is the best one to use, thanks help if u can

 

96's didn't have 302's they had 4.6 v-8's now if some one put a 302 in it we need to know what tranny they used to begin with and is your v-8/302 a carbed or efi???

 

i put the 302 in the 1996 it it came with 3.8 v6 it had a automatic with the numbers 6.3 stamped on the top of the transmission where it bolts to the motor thank u

 

also it has the same bolt patern just wondering if it would hold up to the 302

 

also it is fuel injected

 

you need an AODE from a sn-95 if you are using sn-95 ecm and wiring harness

 

done have it

 

but which tranmission would be better thanks alot
