Code Help
Well I've just run my first KOEO & KOER.
Here are the results:
The 18 seems odd as when I look it up does not seem to be a On Code.
KOEO - 18
18 - Spark Out (SPOUT) Circuit Open (R), Loss Of Ignition Diagnostic Module Input To PCM/SPOUT Circuit Grounded (CM)
KOER - 94,44,33
33 - EGR Valve Opening Not Detected (CM,R)
44 - Secondary Air System Inoperative. bank one, passenger side (R)
94 - Secondary Air Injection Inoperative. bank two, driver side (R)
Just would like some input.
All smog is hooked up, and thought to be working.
Thanks

Looking at only the running codes got me thinking. When I purchased the car the egr system was a mess. All of the vacuum lines that went to the EGR, Diverter, By-Pass and Manifold were either plugged or broken. I attempted to put it back how it should have been but am now 2nd guessing myself. With that said if someone could verify a few things for me, it would eliminate some guesswork.
Coming from the passenger side, behind the strut tower are 4 vacuum lines. They normally go into a black plug and then to the various items noted above. See pic below.

Anyway tracing them out, here is what I have:
Red - Manifold
Green - Diverter Valve
Grey - EGR
Black - By-Pass
I would think if any of these are in the wrong order, that will pop the codes found above.
Please help me out guys.
Thanks.

Well I will carry this conversation by myself...lol...did some homework, and it was a hard find I will tell you that. But here is the diagram.

Edit: After going out to check, I had the EGR and the Diverter swapped, so I would assume that would throw a code, going to retest the KOER tomorrow and see if all codes have cleared. I wonder what effect this had on performance. Any thoughts from anyone ?

Check your base timing. Here is a vaccum diagram http://www.veryuseful.com/mustang/te...g5.0Vacuum.gif

the only one not hooked up is the black wire & the red, green, grey/whatever go to the right locations
also sorry to thread jack, but this thread was already setup for this question
My mistake
I should have read more throughly I see you have the colors and location correct now.
I've also read that running these vacuum line differently can cause idle problems at start up

The Black wire doesn't belong with those vacuum lines.
Possibly from the EVR solenoid or the TAD / TAB solenoids
so what do i do with it? it is sucking air so it must of been for something
edit sorry not wires* the vacuum line, thats not a wire down by my thumb thats the protective casing pulled back
i just did that to show colors
