I guess that i was wrong, i have been all through the cars electrical system and still can't find out why its doing this so i guess it still timing somehow. The cars tach will bounce and the engine will stumble on itself. also it has trouble keeping a steady idle and when attempting to drive it the car temp is all over the board. The car idles and runs perfectly with the spout connector disconnected. With it in, it is running as described above. I checked the Timing with a timing light and its at 10 degrees on the dot. Any Thoughts? I want to clarify again, when i stab the distributor, it does not matter the orientation of the distributor so long as the rotor points to spark plug 1 at TDC.

I have checked the following sensors: MAF, TPS, IAC
The computer is not throwing any codes.

The orientation matters in relation to what? where is the distributor suppose to be oriented to?

If you look at different pics of stang motors the TFI is almost in the same orientation in every pic. Being a tooth off will cause everyone of your symptoms. I know. You can have the dizzy reading 10 degrees but its still off. If you look at your motor at night I would almost bet that you have a couple of headers that glow.

Default Now with PICS!

ok i took some pictures of how my timing is set. Please take a look and see if you see anything wrong.

dampener_tdc_0.jpg - shows my dampener at TDC

Dist_base_at_0.jpg - shows the distributer base with the notch set at what i believe to be 0 degree

rotor_at_tdc.jpg - shows the top of dist at tdc

rotor_overview.jpg - shows overall positon of distributer and rotor to block.

Thanks for the help.

Yea, your timing is way off. Your whole dizzy is stabbed wrong and needs to be rotated about 30* or so clockwise. Read this and compare your pics to it.
