Changing oil pan gasket?

Changing oil pan gasket?
Put my car on the lift at work last night. Noticed oil pan gasket looks like its leaking from everywhere. I've heard this is a very common problem. I've already purchased the the rubber gasket from felpro. I can see i'm going to have to unbolt the motor mounts and tranny mounts to lift the engine and I should be good after that right? I want to take the pan all the way out so I can run it through the parts cleaner to get out any sludge that's in there. The book says this should take about 4 hours...fo real?
Do I need to do anything else besides what I wrote above?
Thanks

I know Haynes makes a repair manual for our style mustang. I actually had it in my hands when I bought the oil pan gasket but I didn't buy, why I don't know

oil pan
pull the P/S rack off the ears, remove the knuckle, lossen the front k-member bolts, remove the rears, unbolt the motor mounts, lower the k-member as far as possible without it falling down, remove bell housing cover plate, remove the oil pan. Install is reverse. It takes me 2hrs out and in.
