-trickfow TW 170cc heads
-trickflow .600" lift valve springs
-trickflow 1.7rr's
-trickflow 6.5" pushrods
- comp xe270hr-12 cam (270/276 advertised duration, 218intake/224exhaust @ .50" lift, .544 lift)
- comp lifters
- Walbro el. 255 fuel pump
- kirban adj. fuel pressure regulator
- meziere el. water pump
-u/d pullies

24lb injectors can feed up to 380 N/A horsepower. 30lb injectors can support 480 N/A horsepower(this taken from a Mustang Engine book of mine).

24 pound injectors should be more than enough for a HCI 5.0

Well I was hoping to be pushing close to 360+ @ the flywheel... think it'd be pushing it?

Sorry, I meant that those numbers were at the rearwheel. 24lb injectors should suit your needs just fine.I take it you're trying to eliminate the possibilities after blowing your headgaskets.

You got it. First things I'm gonna go is run the codes, check the fuel lines/rail for bends and plugs, drop the gas tank and check the pump, set it at 10* and try again.. all I can do.. Hope and pray I don't blow again... getting hard to stay optimistic.

Yeah, I would also check the fuel pump. Sometimes they work for a long time and sometimes they last only a month or two. I hope you figure out your problem. Installing headgaskets is no fun.

Although I can't diagnose your problem I would have to say it's not your 24lb injectors, they would seem plenty at task for your mill the way it sits. Have it diagosed for idle both in neutral and under slight load in gear, the latter has a huge effect on how the car responds as a whole on the street. I guess that's what the kids are calling tuning now lol. His car would never pass emissions here the way it's set up but he doesn't give a rusty ****. It's loud, it makes an awful stink and it's lightning fast. Isn't that what fast cars do anyway?!
