HID conversion problem

HID conversion problem
So, after doing everything listed in the directions, my HID kit doesn't work.
I got the kit from stang mods. The lights will not turn on nor high beams, but when I hit the high beam switch... the hid light bulbs retract into the sockets a bit. For some reason the system is partially working... just no light.
The stock D.S. head lamp harness is plugged into the new HID harness.... the stock harness has power. The HIDs also run directly from the battery using a fusible link, which is not blown.
The lights are grounded in the radiator support on the same bolts as the stock ground wires(stock headlight grounds, idk). All harnesses are plugged into each other as this kid is basically idiot proof.
Has anyone had this problem before?

It's the bixenon 6000k kit. Both low and hi beams. According to stang mods, aside from what's listed in their directions, there should be no modifications required.
The hazard lights and turn signals use stock setup, and work... the halogen bulbs for the headlights get removed, and the HID lights go in their place. The new harness plugs into the DS stock harness, and the PS side harness is not used and gets tied off.
The harness also is attached to the positive battery terminal, and then plugs into ballasts and lights.

Most people think that they can put HIDs in their car by purchasing one of these plug and play kits. This can be done, and it will give better light output than stock halogen bulbs. However, it is the totally WRONG approach.

Well, the stang mods tech believes the problem is a common one... due to the ballast connections being symmetrical, they are probably plugged in backwards.
Hopefully this will work, but I can't test it until I get home from work.
