Hey boys, can anybody help me with this. I just bought a 2000 'Stang and when I unlock the doors, after 30 seconds, the car gets armed again. How do you disarm the alarm temporarily? I had a mechanic working on the car and he banged his head twice (lol) because the alarm kept going off. How do I wash my car? If the doors are locked the alarm will go off, if I leave the doors open, the car arms itself after 30 seconds.

there should be a valet switch....it should be in the manual...

 

Checked in manual, they don't mention a valet switch.

 

my buddies 240sx is the same way. he has to leave the door unlatchet on the first notch so it wont go off.
