V-power 7s. Should i toss them out and just put autolite platinums in?

Autolite or Ford copper plugs and frequent changes. I have used Ford Racing wires for years and have not had any problems.

your ride was not designed to be run with platnuims, run a standard copper core resistor plug

So 8 or 9mm wires? and autolite copper plugs are the way to go? Why would you say to go those over platinum (not saying youre wrong.. jw). I know a couple people who say to put the platinums in... are they doing something wrong? Also, what should i gap them at, .54?

sorry for all the questions.
thanks guys.

TFI ignition system was not designed to run platinum plugs.... don't get caught by the trend... and I've wasted some $$ testing them, not worth it.... and yes, they are doing something wrong. BTW... NGK spark plugs are quality spark plugs, no need to waste money. Regarding the gap.... start with .045'" .. test it and change to .050".... test again, and see what YOUR setup likes. LUK

Well theyre NGK v-power 7s, which are way too hot... right??

I'm just gonna buy some autolite copper cores and gap them at .45 and see what happens

also, like asked before, 8 or 9 mm plug wires? I'm gonna go with ford racing wires... but I dont wanna under/over do it. I have an MSD coil/distributer if that matters..

Thanks for all the feedback, guys
