alright so im new to this site and i think im entitled to one stupid question before i learn how things work here. so, right now im saving up to buy an 88-93 mustang. i was wondering, if both the GTs and the LXs have the 302, then whats diffrent in the GT? thanks for answering, sorry for being a newbie.

 

GT is added styling, bacically just the ground effects. yes they both have the 302 HO in it, and the GT is also approximately .3 of a second slower in the quarter mile than an LX. pretty interesting huh?

which part. I love GT's and have had two of them but one day i want to try an LX or notch.

 

GT has a thicker front sway bar, has a rear sway bar, stiffer springs, and seats, a ground effects package, fog lights, turn down tails
